Update: I was dead set against frozen vegetables until my broccoli went bad in 3 days
I was at Aldi last Tuesday staring at a bag of frozen mixed veggies for $1.29 and decided to grab it after throwing out fresh produce twice that week. It actually tastes fine in my stir fry and lasts months, so has anyone else switched from fresh to frozen for most meals?

Your buddy Tom probably threw in the frozen peppers while they were still basically ice cubes, that's the only way you get watery mush. Pro tip: toss them in a dry pan on high heat and let the water boil off before adding oil, keeps the crunch alive. Or just accept that frozen veggies exist for stir fries and soups, not for pretending you're eating a raw salad from a farmers market.

My buddy Tom made a stir fry with frozen peppers last week and the texture was just sad, all mushy and watery no matter how high he cranked the heat. I mean fresh broccoli has that crunch that frozen just cant replicate once it thaws out. Idk maybe it's just me but I'd rather buy a head of broccoli every 3 days and pay the extra dollar than eat that freezer bag stuff. Also frozen never tastes right in a salad or raw snack so you're kinda stuck with only cooking it.
