Saw a sign at the Phoenix farmers market for 'soup bones' at $2 a pound
I was there last Saturday and a stall had a big cooler full of beef bones labeled for stock. The guy running it said most people just walk right by them. On one hand, it's a crazy cheap way to make a ton of rich broth for soups and rice. On the other, it takes hours to simmer and you need space to store it. Do you think the time and energy cost is worth the savings from a bag of bones?

It's not just about the bones, you need veggies too.

Totally agree with Spencer! The veggies add so much flavor and good stuff. My go-to is onion, carrot, and celery. Makes a huge difference in the final broth.

Wait, isn't bone broth made from veggies too?
