My $2 bag of lentils turned into a 4 day science experiment after the slow cooker died mid-cook
I came home Tuesday to a lukewarm crock of half-raw lentils and no way to finish them, so I blended them into a weird patty situation that actually held together, anyone else ever salvage a failed cheap meal into something sort of edible?

Oh man, that's some serious lentil alchemy right there! I've definitely played the "what if I mash it into a patty and call it dinner" game before, it rarely ends in something I'd serve to guests but it's always edible enough. Honestly, half the time I'm just impressed when the experiment doesn't end up in the trash. At least you got a science project out of it, that's more excitement than most $2 bags of lentils ever provide. Hope your next batch actually finishes cooking, or at least fails in a less creative way!
