Hit 500 bindings this week and still mess up the hinge joint

I counted back through my project notebook after finishing a rebind of an old Penguin classic. That was number 500 since I started three years ago in my basement. You would think by now I would have the hinge joint perfect every time. Still got a tiny gap on the left side of this latest one. It holds fine and looks okay but man that little imperfection bugs me. Anyone else keep a running count and find the small stuff never gets easier?
