Why does nobody bring up the torch tip size when teaching a new guy to cut plate
A boilermaker named Ray on my crew in Gary asked me why I was running a #2 tip on 3/8 plate, then told me a #0 would've saved me 20 minutes of grinding per seam. Never had anyone frame it that way in 6 years, so what else am I doing the hard way out there?
