TIL our town's rule about double-checking pressure relief valves isn't just red tape...

I used to think it was a waste of time on routine service calls... but last week, the old diner on Maple had a close call because theirs was stuck. The fire chief said if it had gone during the lunch rush, it could've been real bad. Seeing that rusty valve up close changed my view... now I test every one, no shortcuts.

Your rusty valve story shows how complacency kills. We skip steps thinking nothing will happen, but that's when disasters strike. Always test, no exceptions.

Never checked the pressure valve once? That's wild lol. Guess it really does take one missed step for things to go wrong.

My friend's garage flooded because they never checked their water heater's pressure valve.

Skipping that pressure valve check is such a common mistake. It's like how we all put off changing air filters or checking tire pressure. Small neglect always seems to snowball into huge messes.

Picture that tiny valve failing after years of neglect and flooding the entire garage. How do you just never check something so important? Water ruins everything, like those cardboard boxes full of holiday decorations or the workbench with all your tools. Can you imagine the mess and the cost to fix it all? A simple five-minute test could have stopped this disaster. Why take the risk when it's so easy to prevent?
