Picked a 7018 rod over 6010 for a vertical weld on a tank job Friday
Idk maybe it's just me but I figured the 7018 would hold better on the root pass and ended up fighting slag entrapment for an extra hour. Has anyone else had that issue where you switch rods for a position and it just bites you?
