Hot take: I used a 3/8 drive on a 1 inch bolt because my 1/2 was across the yard and it snapped clean off

Holy cow, a 3/8 on a one inch bolt? I'm honestly impressed it even started to turn before it let go.

Yeah, well, I've always been an optimist when it comes to tool limits. Gave it a few gentle taps with a hammer first, you know, to encourage it. Honestly, the sound it made when it finally gave up was kind of sad. Like a tiny metal sigh. Lesson learned, but it was a fun three seconds.
