Rule sticklers clashed with chill players at my game night
Last week, my friends came over for a board game. Some of them fixated on every single rule in the book. The rest just wanted to hang out and not stress about details. It made the whole thing feel stiff. What do you think is better for group play?

Ever notice how people get weirdly deep about their coffee orders too? Saw a guy nearly have a full meltdown because the cafe ran out of oat milk. Like, it's a Tuesday morning, my guy, just drink the regular milk. Then he started going off about sourcing and ethical farming. Makes you wonder if we're all just looking for tiny hills to die on.
