Started rewatching The Office for the 4th time and got stuck in season 3

I thought it would be a chill comfort rewatch but now I'm hung up on analyzing every Jim and Pam scene for like 20 minutes. Does anyone else overthink the dumb stuff in a show they've seen a million times?

The 4th rewatch is when you start noticing how much they blink during emotional scenes, it's a slippery slope lol. Next thing you know you're timing the pauses in their conversations and convincing yourself the 0.3 second hesitation in season 3 episode 14 means something deep. Classic sign you've watched it too many times and your brain is just finding new ways to keep it interesting.

I actually read something in a film studies blog about how blinking can be a deliberate acting choice to show vulnerability. It said actors sometimes sync their blinks with emotional beats to make the audience feel more connected to the character. @rose_hart31 you might be onto something about the 0.3 second pauses too because that timing is usually where subtext lives in good writing.
