Vent: A customer told me my spoke tension was all wrong

Guy rolls in with a vintage Colnago, says my wheel build felt soft after 50 miles. He was right. I was using the same tension on drive and non-drive side. Now I check the dish and adjust each side specific, saved me a re-lace last Tuesday.

Dude just rode in on a bike that costs more than my car and tried to school me on spoke tension. Guess he's not wrong though, gotta respect a guy who actually rides his vintage Colnago like it's meant to be ridden.

Man I used to be the opposite honestly. Thought guys rolling up on expensive vintage bikes were just flexing with something they barely ride. But seeing someone actually put miles on a Colnago like that? Changes the whole picture. The patina on those old campy parts tells a real story, not just a garage queen. Kinda makes you rethink what matters more, the ride or the price tag. Gets me wanting to actually use my stuff instead of babying it.
