Am I the only one who waited way too long to try a gooseneck kettle?

I've been making pour-over coffee for like 3 years with a regular old teapot. Last week my neighbor let me borrow her gooseneck kettle and I finally get why people rave about them. My pours are way more controlled and my coffee tastes cleaner, not bitter anymore. Has anyone else switched and noticed a big difference?
