Spent 6 hours figuring out why my Reels were tanking - turns out it was something tiny

I was getting like 200 views on my Instagram Reels for weeks and could not figure out what was wrong. My thumbnails were fine, my captions were keyword rich, I even checked my posting times. Then I noticed the audio I was using had barely any saves on it. Turns out I was picking songs from a weird niche playlist that nobody was searching for. Switched to trending audio from the Reels tab and my last video hit 4k views in two days. Anybody else waste way too long on something this simple?
