Just realized posting at 2 PM on Tuesdays was a total waste of my time

I spent THREE months last year religiously posting at that exact time because some guru on YouTube said it was the 'peak engagement window' for my niche. My average views stayed flat at around 150 per post, no matter what I did. Last month I randomly tried Thursday evenings at 8 PM instead and my last video got 1,200 views in the first two hours. Has anyone else found that the 'proven' times from those big accounts just don't work for smaller creators?

Same thing happened to me with Monday mornings, totally useless for my small channel.

Hate when that happens. I had a similar issue with Monday mornings too, kept getting recommended to me but it was just not built for what I needed. Felt like a waste of time setting it up and then realizing it wasn't going to work for my tiny audience.
