PSA: the $15 "discount" warehouse club trial cost me $87 in gas and snacks
I signed up for a 30 day trial at a warehouse club near me in Columbus last month thinking I'd score cheap bulk stuff, but I kept driving 25 minutes each way for "deals" and walking out with $40 of snacks I didn't need. My card got charged the $15 anyway because I missed the cancel window by 2 days, so the whole thing added up to around $87 for stuff I could've grabbed at the grocery down the street. Did anyone else get suckered by these free trial promos, or is it just me?

Who hasn't fallen for one of those "free" trials that somehow costs more than just paying full price? Honestly, you basically paid $87 to learn that a 50 minute round trip for bulk snacks is a scam in itself. Next time just hit the grocery down the street and call it a win.
