My neighbor swears by a $9 app for groceries but I found something better at Aldi
I was standing in line at Aldi on Route 9 last week and the woman in front of me had a cart full of stuff for $47. I asked how she did it and she said she just checks the weekly ad on Sunday nights and plans around whatever meat is marked down. I always thought coupon apps were the way to go since my neighbor keeps bragging about saving $12 a month with one, but this lady saved way more just by timing her trips. Has anyone else noticed the markdown days at their store or is it different depending on location?
Route 9 Aldi has markdowns Tuesday mornings from what I've seen. Waiting for the weekly ad beats any app, and $12 a month is nothing compared to what you save just by timing it right. Timing always wins over tech.
