My buddy roasted my CRT setup, so I tried a 10 foot VGA cable instead
He said my old monitor looked like a fishtank from 6 feet away, so I moved the whole tower under the table and ran a cheap 10 foot VGA cable. Now the image is still sharp at 1280x1024 and I got my desk space back. Anyone else run long cables just to save room?

Read somewhere that VGA can go up to about 50 feet before the signal really drops off, so 10 is nothing. Good move keeping the desk clear, that's what matters.
