Spent $300 on a fancy digital clipper and it's been a headache

The battery life is awful and it snags on thicker hair, so I'm back to my old corded ones. Anyone have a reliable cordless model they actually trust?

I swore by cordless until my last one died mid-cut.

My cordless vacuum gave out at the worst time, right as my in-laws were pulling into the driveway. It feels like everything is going cordless now, but that just trades one hassle for another. We traded the trip hazard for the battery panic. I'm starting to believe the old, boring, plug-in stuff was actually more reliable. It's the same with my phone, constantly hunting for an outlet instead of just working. Sometimes the new way isn't really an upgrade.
