The 3 pizza rule saved our bad movie nights
We kept picking total duds, the kind where everyone checks their phone by minute 20. I tried the usual stuff, reading reviews, looking at ratings, but nothing worked. Then my buddy Dave said we should only watch movies that have a pizza on the poster. Weird, but we tried it for 6 weeks. Turns out if the poster has a giant pizza, the movie knows it's silly and leans into it. We saw some real gems that way. Last night we watched 'The Giant Pizza Monster' from 1989 and it was amazing. Anyone else got a dumb rule like this that actually works?

It's funny how random rules like that tap into something real, right? We do the same thing with restaurants, if a place has a weird name or a crooked sign we figure the food has to be good. When a movie owns its silly side on the poster, it's usually telling the truth about what you're getting, and honestly that honesty is rarer than you'd think.
