Just realized watching The Room with the right crowd fixes everything
I kept trying to watch The Room alone and hated it after 20 minutes. Last weekend I invited 5 friends over with a six pack of cheap beer and a pizza each. We did the whole spoon throwing thing and quoted every line like idiots. Has anyone else found a movie that needs a specific group size or setup to actually work?

Nope, bad movies are just bad no matter WHO you watch them with.

Hard disagree @betty_scott18. A truly terrible movie with the right people becomes a whole different experience - you're laughing at it together, making jokes, riffing the whole time. The company totally changes the vibe, even if the movie is garbage.
