Hot take: watching bad movies by myself is way worse than watching them with 3 friends
Tried to get through The Room alone on Tuesday and turned it off after 20 minutes because there was nobody to yell 'oh hi Mark' at. When 3 of us watched Troll 2 in my garage last month we laughed so hard my neighbor came over to check on us, so what's your go to movie that only works with a crowd?
Man, the weird part is that even a genuinely good movie changes when you add friends, because you stop caring about the plot and start watching each other react. I watched Face/Off alone and thought it was fine, then watched it with two buddies and we spent an hour doing the slow-mo face touch thing every time someone walked in the room. So my pick is anything Nic Cage, since the movies get better and your friends get worse, which is kind of the whole point.
