The zip tie I used 3 years ago finally gave out on my work desk setup

Wednesday morning my monitor just tipped forward in the middle of a video call, caught it with one hand while the cable bundle behind it snagged my keyboard cord and yanked it off the desk. Turns out the cheap zip tie holding everything to the leg kept snapping one by one as I added new cords, never thought to redo it. Anyone else got a time bomb of old ties behind their desk they keep forgetting about?

Yep, found a fossilized bread tie holding my router cable together last week.

Did you see that thing about the old tech hoarders finding floppy disks in their walls? Half of them still work somehow.
