My buddy swore zipties were better than velcro straps for cable management
He said they're cleaner and I went along with it until I had to swap a dead power supply behind my desk last night and spent 45 minutes snipping every single one off because there's no way to reuse them, has anyone else fallen for the ziptie trap only to regret it mid-tangle?

Those reusable velcro straps are the only way to go for anything behind a desk. Learned that lesson the hard way with zip ties on my own PC setup a few years back.

Learned that lesson the hard way" - yep, same here. I keep a bag of those velcro strips from the hardware store in my desk drawer now. Way easier to just peel one off and wrap it around a bundle when I'm too lazy to unplug everything.
