Honestly though, that broody instinct is kind of amazing when you think about it. She's just doing what her body is telling her to do, and it means you've got a hen with really strong maternal drives. If you ever wanted chicks, she'd be your best bet. It's a pain for egg production, but it's pretty cool biology at work. Maybe she just needs a little more time.

Used to just see it as a hassle for sure, but you're right about it being cool biology. Changes how I look at a broody hen now.
