PSA: The new anti-static bags from that big supplier are not the same
Honestly, we got a batch last month and the material is way thinner now. I had a static-sensitive board get zapped right through one after three days in the shop. Has anyone else seen this and found a better supplier?

You said you've used them for weeks with no problems. I mean, what kind of parts are you storing? I had a batch of old ICs in the new thin bags and they were fine for a week, but a newer board with a big ground plane got fried. Maybe the failure depends on what's inside.

Could it just be a bad batch? I've used their new bags for weeks with no problems at all... maybe your shop has a different static issue.
