Got burned buying a used oscilloscope off eBay - lost $200
I bought a Tektronix TDS 220 off eBay for $200 from a seller in Arizona. Turns out channel 2 was completely dead and the calibration sticker was clearly faked. Now I'm out the money and stuck using my old fluke meter for everything. Anybody got a reliable place to grab refurbished test gear?

Man that sucks, I feel your pain. I got bit on a used signal generator once, same deal with the fake calibration sticker. What finally worked for me was checking out Test Equipment Connection - they have a solid return policy and actually verify stuff before they sell it. Bought a scope from them a couple years back and it showed up exactly as described, no surprises.

Did you try contacting the seller directly too, @shane_ross? They refunded me after I sent photos of the messed up calibration sticker, took a few days but it worked out.
