Had a brake line blow on a '98 Civic while test driving it around the block in Phoenix last week. What's your go-to method for a quick fix in the lot?

Man, that's rough in Phoenix heat! Honestly @wren_smith44 has the right idea for the lot, a compression fitting and fresh line is the only safe bet. It's like that everywhere now, just patching things up quick instead of doing it right the first time. I see it with everything from cars to coffee makers, total band-aid fix culture.

Just use a compression fitting and some new line, it'll get it back to the shop.
