Had a customer's pet parrot fly into my spray booth yesterday

I was laying down a clear coat on a '98 Civic in the booth when I heard a squawk. This bright green bird just swooped in from the open shop door and landed on the roof rail. I had to shut everything down, open the big doors, and try to coax it out with a banana I had in my lunchbox. The owner came running in, yelling 'Pepe!' like it was a movie. Anyone else ever had an animal cause a full work stoppage?

That's wild, but at least it was just a bird. I saw a video where a whole deer crashed through a body shop window, that's a real work stoppage lol. Makes a parrot look easy.

Pepe must have wanted a custom candy apple green finish. At least the owner didn't try to blame you for the bird's new glossy sheen. My shop cat would have lost his mind.
