Bought a 'vintage' lamp off Facebook that turned out to be haunted or something

Last Saturday I picked up this old brass lamp for $20 from a seller in Aurora. Got it home, plugged it in, and the bulb flickered like crazy even after I swapped it twice. Then around midnight the thing turned on by itself and started making a low hum. I unplugged it and stuffed it in my garage for now. Has anyone else accidentally bought a cursed object from a marketplace listing?

Tell my buddy @hugo_jones2 this reminds me of his cousin who bought a dresser off Craigslist that would rearrange the drawers every night. He swore it was just his cat until he found the previous owner's old photos taped inside the back panel. Took him three weeks to work up the nerve to toss that thing at the dump lol.
