Repaired my 100th washing machine last week and it still felt new

I hit 100 repair jobs last Thursday. It was a simple Samsung top loader with a bad lid switch. Quick fix, maybe 15 minutes. But it got me thinking, 100 machines is a lot of spin cycles and suds. What number made you stop and realize you had been doing this a while? Was it 50, 200, or some other milestone?

Wait, 100 is when it hit you? Dang, I think I was around 40 or 50 dishwasher repairs before it really sunk in that this was my actual life now. It's weird how the routine sneaks up on you like that. One day you're learning how to swap a pump, the next you can do it with your eyes closed while talking to the customer. For me it was less about the number and more about the moment I realized I could diagnose a problem just from the sound the machine made. That's when I knew I'd been doing it too long, haha.

Nah, I think 100 is rookie numbers. You gotta hit at least 200 before you really feel it.
