I mean it's annoying but you figured it out in two hours, not exactly a disaster.

Man that reminds me of the time I spent three days trying to get an old printer to work with a new laptop. Ended up having to dig through some dusty forums at 2am to find a driver that actually worked. Whole thing was a mess but honestly I kinda enjoyed the puzzle even if it was stupid. Sometimes those little tech battles are more satisfying than the stuff that works right away.
