Just realized my 35mm camera collects more dust per month than my darkroom prints ever did
Cleaned out my gear bag after a year and found about 2 tablespoons of lint and dust stuck to the lenses, which made me wonder how much of that ended up on my negatives, so has anyone else noticed their storage routine is the real villain here?
Dave's story hits close to home because my own negatives have been living in a shoebox under my desk for about two years now. At least the cat box gets cleaned on a schedule, which is more than I can say for my filing system. Some of us just aren't meant to be organized, and I've made peace with that.
