Wireless sensor pairing nightmare at a retirement home

Last Saturday I was at a retirement complex in Toledo and 4 out of 12 door sensors refused to pair with the new panel, even after swapping batteries twice. Turns out the building's old Wi-Fi booster was sitting right next to the panel and drowning out the 2.4 GHz signal. Has anyone else run into interference from non-alarm devices that close to the receiver?

Honestly, that booster being right next to the panel is a classic setup mistake. Did you check if the sensor hub was on a different channel before you moved the booster, or did you just relocate it? Because sometimes the interference is baked into the wiring, like if the booster is sharing a power source with the panel, and that hum can mess with things even after you move it. Curious if the sensors paired up fine once you put some distance between them, or if you had to swap out the panel's antenna too. Tbh, I've seen baby monitors cause the same chaos, but that one's easy to spot. The booster hiding in plain sight is the sneaky one.
