That church job in East LA where I hit a live 480 line changed my whole wiring routine
Was running a wireless panel upgrade at St. Mary's on Olympic last month and my drill bit found a live 480 volt feeder buried in the wall. No prints, no labels, just pure luck I was wearing insulated gloves. Now I always spend 15 minutes with a tone tracer before I drill anything. Anyone else had a close call with surprise voltage?

Buddy of mine found a 277 in a junction box that wasn't even supposed to have power.
