Just realized the new bank downtown has zero tamper protection on their keypad wires

I was at the First Commerce branch on Main Street yesterday, and their keypad for the after-hours door is just mounted on the outside wall. The cable runs through a standard plastic conduit, but the whole thing is exposed for about two feet before it goes into the building. No conduit lock, no armored cable, not even a basic junction box seal. It's a 4-wire setup, and you could literally snip it with side cutters in under ten seconds. For a place that holds cash, it's wild. How are they getting away with that on a new build? What's the worst install you've seen at a business that should know better?

Wait, you think that's bad? I saw a gas station where the entire card reader cable was just loose behind the pump, like you could unplug it with your fingers. Makes you wonder if these places even get inspected, or if someone just slaps it together to pass a quick check. How do they not think about someone just walking up and messing with it? It's basic stuff.

Saw the same thing at a station near me, @margaret_bennett3. I just told the guy inside and he came out and screwed the panel back on tight. They usually fix it if you point it out, but you're right, it shouldn't be that loose in the first place lol.
