I finally cleared out my granddad's toolbox from the garage

Found all these old junction boxes and screw terminals from when he did alarms. Makes you appreciate how clean modern panel setups are, with everything pre-wired.

Remember when you'd open a new one and it was already kind of dried out and crusty around the edges? You're right though nancy275, the mess became the whole point, like half the stuff ended up on your hands and the table instead of the project. I got to a point where I'd just look at the bottle and my brain would see a future sticky disaster. Totally killed the fun for me.
