From my jobs, wired alarms beat wireless every time for reliability.
Lots of folks push wireless for easy setup, but I get way fewer issues with wired links. They might take more work to put in, but they don't fail when you need them most.

Saw a tech blog mention how wireless signals can get blocked by walls or other electronics. Makes sense why a hardwired connection would be more solid in a crunch.

Wired connections also give you way better ping for gaming or video calls when it matters most.

Notice how the most reliable things are usually the most basic. A strong house needs a good foundation, and a solid car needs regular oil changes. It's the same with internet, a wired connection is just taking care of the basics.
