DAE get burned by a faulty tamper switch at a school job?
I was installing a new panel at a middle school in Portland last month. Everything tested fine until I flipped the cover, and the tamper switch triggered a false alarm at 2 AM. Turns out I mounted the switch bracket upside down and the plunger wasn't seating right. Now I always do a final walk through with the cover on before leaving. Anybody else have a tamper switch horror story?

Man, that exact same thing happened to me with a loose plunger on a fire alarm panel, brutal wake-up call.
