My air fryer's basket handle snapped clean off last Tuesday, and I think the design is flawed.

Clean off? That's wild, how much force were you using? Mine feels like it could survive a drop from a moving car. What brand even does that?

Survive a drop from a moving car" is the key part. Some brands focus on scratch resistance over impact protection, so a hard corner hit can still pop it off.
