I thought my buddy was crazy for telling me to air fry tofu straight from the package

He said to skip pressing it and just cube it, toss it in cornstarch, and go. Tried it yesterday and the texture was perfect, not soggy at all. Anyone have other 'skip the prep' tricks that actually work?
