Found a forgotten motel off Route 66 near Amboy

I used to just snap a quick photo from the car, but now I always walk the perimeter first. That's how I spotted the old neon sign face-down in the weeds behind the office last month. Anyone know a good way to document stuff like that without disturbing it?

That's a cool find... maybe try a 360 video from a few angles? Gives context without moving anything.

Honestly seems like overkill for a random find. It's just an object, not a crime scene. Taking a simple picture should be more than enough proof. People get so serious about documenting every little thing these days. A 360 video feels like a lot of extra work for something that probably isn't that important.
