Small parts, big problems. Quinn said good rings should hold up without worry, but that's risky for diving gear. O-rings dry out from heat, even good ones. A broken seal underwater can be deadly. Keeping them cool and dark isn't overkill, it's smart. Ignoring it because they seem strong is how bad things happen.
