My doodle of the main dancer got reposted by the company

I spent last weekend drawing a quick sketch of the main dancer from my favorite group. To my surprise, the group's official Instagram account shared it yesterday. What's the best way to thank them without seeming too pushy?

When BLACKPINK shared my fan art last summer, I almost screamed. I just posted a thankful comment on their page and kept it moving. Your sketch getting noticed is HUGE, so a genuine but brief response should be perfect.

Disagree with @jessica681 here. A quick thank you seems too casual for such a big deal. If a group like BLACKPINK shares your work, you earned a moment to say more. Explain how it felt or what inspired the sketch. It makes the moment real, not just another comment. Keeping it brief might come off as not caring much, honestly.

Notice how people downplay big wins like they're afraid to own their own joy. It happens everywhere, not just with fan art. Someone gets a promotion and calls it lucky, or lands a date and acts like it's no big deal. We're taught to play it cool so hard that real feeling gets lost. Your genuine excitement is the whole point, it's what made the art good in the first place. Let that show when you thank them.
