Found an old campsite deep in the forest last Sunday
Should I report it or just leave it be?

Speaking of modern trash, my buddy once found an old cooler full of junk in the woods. It had a bunch of melted candy wrappers and, weirdly, like eight dead AA batteries. We packed all that out because it was clearly just someone's litter from a few years back. Felt like cleaning up after a very lazy ghost who had a sweet tooth. Honestly, that candy sludge was its own kind of health violation.

Check for any modern trash first. If it's just old and natural, let it stay as part of the forest.
