Pegboard order changed my mind on tool storage

I figured a messy station was just how things worked. After putting up a pegboard in my home salon, I saw how much faster my mornings got. What simple fix has helped your setup?

My sister swears by her pegboard, but I spent 37 seconds looking for my good scissors the other day because they were "too organized" and hidden in plain sight. Sometimes I feel like the more I try to fix my setup, the better I get at losing things in new and exciting ways. Maybe the true simple fix is just accepting the chaos as part of the creative process. Does a perfectly organized station actually kill the vibe, or am I just making excuses for my clutter?

Ever feel like you're just moving the mess around? My pegboard looked amazing for a week, then I started hanging random stuff on it and now it's just fancy clutter. I get what @lisa_jones21 means about drawers helping, but sometimes my brain works better when things are in a pile I can dig through. Maybe the vibe is just knowing where your own chaos lives.

Actually, drawer organizers for my art supplies were a similar game changer. It cut my searching time in half on busy project days. That little bit of order makes a huge difference in mental space.
