I spent $300 on a font bundle that I never opened

It happened about six months ago. I saw this big deal online for a huge pack of fancy fonts, like 500 of them for a one time price. The ads made it look like a steal, showing all these cool logos and posters made with them. I bought it right away thinking it would give me tons of new ideas. The files downloaded, and I just... never used them. Not even once. I keep opening my font list and seeing them there, but my brain just sticks to the same five fonts I always use for everything. It feels like I paid for a library card to a building I never walk into. Has anyone else bought a big resource pack like that and then just ignored it? How do you make yourself actually use the new stuff you buy?

What was the project you thought you'd use them for?

Oh, I never actually had a specific project in mind.

Wait, isn't the whole point to have a project in mind first? I mean, otherwise you're just collecting stuff for no reason. It feels backwards to me.
