Rant: My client swore his backyard was a perfect rectangle

He kept saying it was exactly 30 by 40 feet, but when I laid out the string lines, one corner was off by almost two feet. I had to redo the whole paver layout from scratch. Has anyone else had a property measurement just be completely wrong like that?

Ever think they just eyeballed it from their deck and called it good? Like, did they even own a tape measure?
