My car keys were in the fridge for three days straight

I found them right next to the milk, but I have zero memory of putting them there. Has anyone else had an object just appear somewhere totally illogical?

Is your brain just on autopilot sometimes? I once found the TV remote in the pantry, so you're not alone. Our brains do weird stuff when we're tired or distracted.

Ever put your phone in the fridge? I did that last week. Now I try to say out loud what I'm doing, like "keys on the hook." Sounds silly but it helps.
