Am I the only one who misses the old rock hammer I lost on a field trip in the Ozarks back in 2016?

I had to switch to a lighter Estwing after that, and I still think the old one's heft gave me a better feel for the grain in a sandstone.

Yeah, @wyatt_green, that balance thing is real. My dad still talks about the hammer he left in a creek bed in '92.

Lost a perfect chisel tip hammer in a Nevada washout in 2018. My new one just doesn't have the same balance, feels like swinging a toy.
