My view on the push for digital menus in every cafe

I don't think digital menus are the upgrade everyone claims. They can be hard to read in sunlight and actually make ordering take longer. What's your experience with them?

Ever see one completely crash and just show a loading screen? Feels like solving for a problem that didn't exist.

I read an article on The Verge about loading screens after crashes. It said some designers use them to hide system failures from users. That just swaps one annoyance for another, honestly.

Yeah, that's so true @spencer_ross. It's like they're just putting a band-aid on a broken leg. Still feels bad for the user either way.
